Olivia Tingley-Kelley '22 Earns First Place in "Voice of Democracy" Essay Contest

Olivia Tingley-Kelley '22 won first place in the VFW Post 1074 "Voice of Democracy" essay contest. 

In her essay Olivia expressed, "It is important to note that every heated argument and period of turmoil results from passion, the same passion shared by every American from the country's creation to now who voiced their opinions for the betterment of this great nation."

These words resonated with the panel, and the overall excellence of her submission distinguished her from the competition.
