Mothers' Cupboard is a Parents Association initiative that helps to stock the Community Center at Visitation food pantry.
As part of this ongoing work, we ask MMA families to add one item to your grocery list each week and send it to school. We especially look to "FOOD DAY TUESDAY" for families to contribute. While so many of us are blessed with plentiful food, there are so many less fortunate. This small deed will do great wonders to those in need.
The collection boxes are located in the Lyceum. Below are the updates and "items of the month." All non-perishable items are welcome.
"FOOD DAY TUESDAY"
Next week, we will be conducting a special food drive to assist the Community Center at Visitation Pantry. They will be holding a one day "Wellness Expo" at the beginning of October where they will have information sessions, cooking classes, etc. for the local community.
In support of this endeavor, they are asking the MMA Mothers' Cupboard for a one time donation of fresh fruit and produce. We will be collecting these special items at school for three days: TUESDAY, 9/25, WEDNESDAY, 9/26, and THURSDAY, 9/27. All donations will be delivered to Visitation Pantry early Thursday afternoon.
If you wish to contribute, please send any of the following items:
Please ask your daughter to drop off the donations in the morning at the collection areas in the Dining Commons. As always, thank you for your generosity and support of the MMA Mothers' Cupboard!
