Mother Cathering McAuley defined Mercy as a “vivacious generosity of spirit…a gift given in response to a need.”
Every year the Advancement Office calls upon the Merion Mercy Community to lend a helping hand and support the school through a donation to the MMAnnual Fund.
Gifts to the Merion Mercy Academy Annual Fund directly impact the needs of our students and community. These gifts are truly regenerative as they help strengthen the schools legacy and secure the future for both current and next generation MMA alumnae. Through your Annual Fund gift to MMA, you are helping to sustain the mission of Catherine McAuley as well as:
- Provide vital support for professional development
- Promote an environment of academic and extracurricular excellence for our students
- Create the opportunity and experiences necessary to foster a culture of leadership and service for deserving young women
- Sustain necessary facility management and updates
- Help attract the most qualified and distinguished Faculty and Staff

Thank you for your support and giving Merion Mercy Academy the ability to provide more for our students!
Merion Mercy Academy is looking for alumnae interested in getting more involved with their class and participating in our Class Ambassador Program!
As a Class Ambassador you would reach out to your peers to help keep your class contact information updated, keep your class in the know with exciting MMA news, encourage class attendance at MMA events and receptions, and help solicit your classmates for support to help MMA continue to strive and grow for future generations!
Merion Mercy alumnae, although strong independently, are even more commanding together as a community. They lean on each other for support to strengthen their mission. The Advancement Office needs your help. Please take a moment to consider being the ambassador for your class, helping to stay connected with one another and the MMA community and also leaving your class footprint in our newly renovated space.
