• Maddie McCloskey ‘27 was named to the AACA All Star team for swimming with her 2024 first place finish in the 100 fly at the AACA league swim meet. She also finished fourth in the 100 fly and qualified for the PIAA state swim meet.

• Mia Longo ‘24 placed fifth at the 2024 District 1 swim meet in the 100 back.

• Mia Longo was named to the 2022 AACA All Star Second Team 

• 2022 Districts:

  • Violet Lorei ‘22 took 3rd in the 200 free with a time of 02:01:92.

  • Kelly O’Connor ‘22 took 3rd in the 50 free with a time of 25:52, breaking the previous school record. 

  • The 200 medley swam a group best of 02:02:05.

  • Senior swimmers Kelly O'Connor and Violet Lorei set new Merion Mercy swim records. O'Connor's district time of 25:52 and Lorei's time of 25:39 in the 50 freestyle beat the previous record held by Emily Benton (25:79).

  • Mia Longo took 1st place in the girls 100 yard back.

  • Violet Lorei ‘22 took 4th in the 100 free with a time of 55.26. 

  • 400 free relay team members Mia Longo, Lily Denn, Ava Kennedy, and Violet Lorei took 5th with a time of 3:54:32.

  • Overall, Merion Mercy placed 6th in the district meet.

• 2022 State Qualifiers:

  • Mia Longo 100 yard backstroke

  • Violet Lorei 100 yard freestyle event

  • Kelly O'Connor qualified for the 50 yard freestyle

• Mia Longo was named to the 2021-2022 AACA All Star Swim Team
