Our Hiring Process
Pennsylvania state law and Merion Mercy Academy require that the following items be completed before a candidate is hired. If seeking to work in a school in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a candidate is advised to complete these items expeditiously.
Interested candidates should send a resume, cover letter, and statement of educational philosophy along with three professional references
Additionally, those applying for teaching Positions should:
Submit copy of all Bachelor’s and/or Master’s transcripts
Submit copy of any and all teaching certificates
The following forms must be submitted before officially starting the position:
Pennsylvania Fingerprinting Services (Service Code: 1KG6TR)
Addendum On Line Mandated Webinar Certificate (second part of Virtus)
TB test certification

Merion Mercy Academ seeks a dynamic and student-centered educator versed in current trends, research, and emerging ideas in education to serve as a Math teacher for the 2023-24 school year.
The ideal candidate will inspire students to learn mathematics and will work collaboratively with colleagues in various curricular areas. He or she will embrace the school’s Mercy mission to promote a holistic education that is student-centered and encourages both academic and personal excellence.
