Pennsylvania state law and Merion Mercy Academy require that the following items be completed before a candidate is hired. If seeking to work in a school in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a candidate is advised to complete these items expeditiously.

DIREctor of ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT
Merion Mercy Academy seeks an experienced enrollment management professional to lead the transition of the school from a traditional admissions based process to a comprehensive, data-driven enrollment management system.
The Director is responsible for leading the strategic and operational components of enrollment, developing the research necessary to inform decision making, as well as the oversight of student recruitment and retention. The Director of Enrollment Management (DEM) is responsible for implementing a strategic program to market Merion Mercy Academy (MMA) to prospective families; and ultimately, for enrolling new students in numbers sufficient to meet the goals of the School. The DEM will collaborate with the Senior Administrative Team to develop and execute these responsibilities. The Director of Enrollment Management commits to the mission of Catholic education in the Mercy tradition.

Director of Diversity, equity, Inclusion and belonging
Merion Mercy Academy seeks a faith-filled leader to serve as Director of Diversity Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) beginning July 2023. The Director embodies the School’s mission, is a member of the Mission, Ministry, and Belonging Department, reports to the Director of Mission, Ministry, and Belonging and works collaboratively with the Head of School.

ENGLISH LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
Merion Mercy Academy seeks a dynamic and student-centered educator versed in current trends, research, and emerging ideas in education to serve as a long-term substitute English teacher beginning in September 2023.
The ideal candidate will inspire students to write well and to read, analyze, and enjoy literature. The candidate will also work collaboratively with colleagues in various curricular areas. He or she will embrace the school’s Mercy mission to promote a holistic education that is student-centered and encourages both academic and personal excellence. He or she will be enthusiastic about teaching girls, have a familiarity with instructional technology, and enjoy working within a team setting of shared ideas and constructive feedback in a collaborative manner. The candidates will demonstrate skills in cross-cultural teaching and leadership practices. He or she will contribute to and be committed to diversity and multicultural educational practices.

COLLEGE COUNSELOR
Merion Mercy Academy seeks an innovative and student-centered college counselor well versed in best practices in independent education to begin in August 2023.
The College Counselor is a highly visible and energetic school leader who guides and supports students through the college application process. The ideal candidate will be a role model for girls with strong leadership, communication and organizational skills, and possess the ability to engage effectively with students, parents and faculty and staff as well as representatives from colleges and universities.

Coaches
Merion Mercy is seeking coaches for the Fall 2023 season for Field Hockey, Soccer, Tennis, and Volleyball. We are also seeking assistant crew coaches for the entire '23-'24 school year (fall, winter training, spring).
