Merion Mercy academics, advisory, activities, athletics, and other community areas are organized and managed on our learning management and student information system called MyMMA. MyMMA serves as our single hub for all teacher and advisor pages; activity moderator and athletic coach pages; school events and course assignment calendars; athletic scoreboard reporting; attendance, gradebook, and report card portals; school directories; and so much more to keep us connected, informed, learning, and growing together. For families new to Merion Mercy, information on how to access and navigate MyMMA is available via the following links: Student Guide for Login and Profile Setup and Parent/Guardian Guide Setup.
Back-to-school forms have been posted to your MyMMA account for you to review and complete.
Welcome New Faculty and Staff Members
We are excited to welcome some additional new faculty and staff members:
We are pleased to welcome back:
Transitions
Ms. Abigail Gorman, who served as a Campus Minister, will not be returning for the 2021-22 school year. We would like to thank her for her many contributions to our community and wish her all the best. Student Life Orientation Week 2021
We are looking forward to seeing all students on campus the week of August 30. Please click here to review the email sent out that contains important details on Orientation Week.
Yoga Mats
In order to facilitate social distancing in certain large group settings, we are asking all students to bring a yoga mat to school. Yoga mats may be any solid color. The mat may be stored in student lockers.
Update from FlynnO'Hara Uniforms
FlynnO'Hara, our uniform provider, reached out to us and shared that they are experiencing delays due to the national labor shortage. If your daughter has not yet received her uniform, please contact Olivia Sharkey, Dean of Students, at osharkey@merion-mercy.com. Food Services Servery
Merion Mercy's cafeteria will once again offer a limited number of breakfast items in the morning, snacks, and a variety of hot and cold lunch options for purchase each school day. These may be purchased using funds added to student IDs through "myschoolaccount.com" (see below) or cash.
Student Lunch Accounts
Merion Mercy Academy uses the myschoolaccount.com online lunch payment service. This service allows you to make deposits directly into your daughter's meal account, transfer funds between students in the same household and have an email reminder sent to you when an account balance gets low. Deposits can be made through ACH payments or by credit card. Each student's account will be updated nightly so that account balance information and payments will be current as of the following day. You may also monitor your daughter's lunchtime purchases and track what she has been eating for the past 30 days through this system.
In order to take advantage of this convenient service, you will need to create a parent account. Please click here for more details and instructions for creating an account.
Since this account is linked to each student's ID card, they can pay for items in the cafeteria by simply swiping their ID.
Balances
Balances from 2020-21 School Year must be at zero (or paid in full) prior to the start of the new school year. Spirit Shop Spirit Shop News
