Transition
After four years, Sister Kathleen Sabatino is graduating with current seniors, with whom she arrived at Merion in 2017.
Sister Kathleen is a trusted sounding board to students, faculty, and staff and capably leads the student support team. Her work with students is informed by a deep commitment to social justice, nurtured at Mercy schools. As one of the leaders in school DEI work, Sister Kathleen supports affinity groups, spearheads SpeakUp! and helps Merion create a culture of belonging in countless other ways.
We are indebted to the IHM Sisters for "loaning" us Sister Kathleen for these past four years. The MMA community has been enriched by her counseling skills, energy, wisdom, and perspective.
