If parents/guardians wish to move their daughter from remote learning to 5-day-a-week in-person learning, they are asked to fill out the Return To Campus Request form, which can be found on MyMMA on the "Student Handbook and Resources" resource tile. The parent/guardian will automatically receive an email outlining next steps to be taken upon submission of the form. These steps include providing proof of a negative COVID-19 test and completion of consent forms in MyMMA. Note: The transition process can take up to 10 days to complete. For the 2020-21 school year, Merion Mercy's Servery will be open each day from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering pre-ordered lunches and snacks available for purchase.
Orders must be placed by Thursday, February 25 for the week of March 1.

Parents Association Parents Association General Meeting Scheduled for March 9
The Parents Association will host Mrs. Valerie Prucnal, Assistant Head of School for Academics, and Mr. Philip Vinogradov, Director of Innovation, Teaching, and Learning, at a general meeting via Zoom on Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m. The topics to be covered include course options and selection and new initiatives. The Zoom link will be sent to all families that morning.
Register Now for Designer Bag Bingo on March 11
Please join us as we hold our annual Designer Bag Bingo event virtually on Thursday evening, March 11 at 7 p.m. Because we're on Zoom this year, your daughters can join in too—and there are a few bags that we're sure our Merion students will love, including backpacks by Kate Spade and Able, and a Longchamp Le Pliage tote! Specialty rounds will feature bags by Lilly Pulitzer and Tori Burch, and even a Yeti cooler package! Please register here and look for an email early this week with more details!
Father/Father Figure-Daughter Service Project Extended
The deadline for this years service project for students and their fathers/father figures has been extended to Monday, March 8—giving you another weekend to make your no-sew fleece blanket for Project Linus. We'd love to see some photos of you with your completed project, too; please send them to parentsassociation@merion-mercy.com.
Blankets may be placed in the box outside the Development Office through March 8. If your daughter is learning virtually, you may drop them off in the brown bin by the school's front entrance.
Volunteers Needed for Junior Sisterhood Experience on Friday
Our juniors will be gathering as a class this Friday, March 5, for their Sisterhood Experience, and the Office of School Life would be grateful for parent volunteers to assist faculty and staff with general logistics from 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Please sign up here. Part 2 of "Lent 2021: To Live Anew" Scheduled for March 23
Many thanks to those of you who attended the first part of our two-night spiritual enrichment program, "Lent 2021: To Live Anew" featuring Sister Honora Nicholson, RSM, last Tuesday evening. If you would like to join us for the second session on March 23 from 7–8:30 p.m., you may register here. (This will be a follow up to the first session, not a repeat.) There is no cost to attend the program, but we encourage you to purchase a reflection guide here (available as an instant download for just $2) by Sister Joan Chittister, OSB in time for the session.
Save the Date for Our Live Cooking Class on March 30
Mark your calendar for a virtual cooking class with Lizzie McManus Streit, MS, RDN, LD and MMA alumna, Class of 2009. Lizzie is the creator of the website "It's a Veg World After All" and the author of Vegetable Cookbook for Vegetarians: 200 Recipes from Artichoke to Zucchini. This virtual event will be held on Tuesday March 30 at 6 p.m. Lizzie will provide a grocery list in advance and walk us through how to cook a delicious dinner. Plus, there will be a raffle for signed copies of her cookbook! More details and a registration link will be sent shortly. Attendance will be capped at 60 families; the cost is $15 per family.
