Volunteer Clearance Requirements
All parents are reminded that in order to volunteer at MMA in a capacity that involves interacting with our students, you must have on file the proper background checks, clearances, and training certificates. This includes parents who are driving club/team members to games/events, assisting coaches with teams, helping with student clubs or activities, helping with Development or Admissions events involving students, etc. One of the requirements involves attending an in-person class. Plan ahead—don't wait and have to scramble at the last minute! Click here for a complete list of these requirements.
All documentation should be sent to Anne Gregg at agregg@merion-mercy.com in the Main Office.
Note: If you have previously submitted clearances and you plan on volunteering this year, please check with Anne Gregg at agregg@merion-mercy.com in the Main Office to verify that you are in compliance. Two of the background checks must be renewed every five years. Academics Schedule for the Week of February 22 Course Selection for 2021-2022

Father/Father Figure-Daughter Service Project Now Underway
Although our annual service project for students and their fathers/father figures cannot take place in person this year, we are very excited that we will support Project Linus through a make-at-home fleece blanket project. It's easy (really), and it will give you an opportunity to spend some quality time together!
Fleece blankets require no sewing—all you need to do is purchase the fleece, trim it to size, make some cuts along each edge, and tie some knots. And voilà, you've created a security blanket for a child in need! Click here for detailed (and entertaining!) assembly instructions from Christina '21 and Hank Schwab. Written instructions are linked here. We'd love to see some photos of you with your completed project, too; please send them to parentsassociation@merion-mercy.com.
Please ask your daughters to bring the blankets to school by March 1 and deliver them to the box outside the Development Office. If your daughter is learning virtually, you may drop them off in the brown bin by the school's front entrance.
Save the Dates!
Designer Bag Bingo: Back by Popular Demand We are excited to hold our annual Designer Bag Bingo event virtually on Thursday evening, March 11—what's more, we are extending the invitation to our students this year to make this event even more memorable! More information will come soon.
