The Ministry Team is kicking off Merion Mercy's annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Collaborating with Mercy Neighborhood Ministries, the Ministry Team engages the entire school community in collecting non-perishable food items that will make up Thanksgiving meals for families in need.
Students will be provided with more information in/bring the non-perishable food items to their Advisory Groups.
The drive will begin the week of November 9 and conclude the morning of November 23.

Merion Mercy is a Proud Sponsor of the Gesu School's 23rd Annual Symposium.
Please join in this discussion with Ibram X. Kendi, professor, historian, bestselling author of the book, How to be an Antiracist, and one of Time's 100 Most Influential People of 2020. The evening will be moderated by Trina Gary from Brown-Gary Associates. Trina Brown will dialogue with Professor Kendi on antiracism in the context of urban education and field questions from participants.
The Symposium will be held (virtually) on Wednesday, November 11 from 5–6 p.m. There is no charge. Click here to register.

The show will be live on Zoom on Friday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m. The MMA community will receive a Zoom link the morning of the show.
Class of 2024 Retreat
The Class of 2024 will participate in their first Class Retreat on Friday, November 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Merion Mercy.
Please keep our freshmen in your prayers. We hope that this time together nurtures their spiritual development and their growth in the Mercy sisterhood.

Congratulations to our winners: Logging the most miles as a student team was the Crew team, with 30 members and 1,286 miles. Soccer followed in second place with 27 members and 130 miles, and Cross Country came in third with 20 people logging 85 miles. The award for most miles as an alum team goes to the Class of '86. Prizes for Most Miles as an Individual go to student Catherine Garvey '21 with 151 miles and alum Kristin Galli Krauss '86, with 51 miles. Furthest Participant from 511 Montgomery Avenue was Clare Zimmerman, who logged her results from Riga, Latvia! The Best Costume award goes to Angela David Beatty '89 for decking out in '80s gear.

For the 2020-21 school year, Merion Mercy's Servery will be open each day from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering pre-ordered lunches and snacks available for purchase.
Lunches can be ordered for "In-person Learning Days."
Orders must be placed by Thursday, November 12 for the week of November 16.

The College Counseling department looks for to presenting "Dollars & Sense: Understanding Loans, Scholarships, College Funding" on Monday, November 9 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
