April 9, 2020 MESSAGE FROM HEAD OF SCHOOL Dear Merion Mercy Community,
Community Life As we move forward with this longer-term phase of Mobile Merion Mercy, we remain committed to our families and are deeply concerned about the health and well-being of our students.
We look forward to launching our new schedule when we return from break. We want to help our students manage their workloads and also provide new opportunities for community engagement. Structure, routine and support are vital to student success; therefore, clubs and activities will resume virtually in full force.
Class of 2020 It is an understatement to write that this is not how you envisioned your senior spring. Your parents, classmates and teachers join in your disappointment. We plan to celebrate your accomplishments individually and as a class. We are currently exploring several options. However, we will not be able to communicate specific plans until public health decisions are made that help bring our summer into focus.
Parents, thank you for the kind words you have expressed about our faculty and their support of your daughters. Not only are our faculty members wonderful teachers, but they are great people, whose care for your daughters is genuine.
Warm regards,
Laura Farrell Head of School 511 Montgomery Avenue • Merion Station • PA • 19066 |
