Dear Merion Mercy Parents/Caregivers and Students,
We realize these are uncertain and difficult times for all of us. We would like to assure you that even though we are not physically at school, we are continuing to monitor this evolving situation. We remain committed to supporting students and families in this virtual environment to assure the health and safety of our Merion Mercy community.
Here are a few things we would like to share:
- Click here to review an article on social distancing. We think you may find it interesting.
- As of 12:15 p.m. on Monday, March 16, there were 76 confirmed cases in PA (30 of those cases are in Montgomery County; six in Lower Merion Township).
- We have not been notified by the Montgomery County Health Department that anyone in our school community has tested positive for COVID-19.
- Click here for a document from the PA Department of Health on testing, if you or anyone you know needs this information.
- We would like to keep track of any student or family member who lives with a student who may have recently traveled or plans to travel outside of the Delaware Valley. Please email khorgan@merion-mercy.com with this information.
- If there is any health information that you need or would like to discuss, please call our Health Office at ext. 113 and leave a message. We are able to retrieve those voicemails. Or, please email me with any questions or concerns at khorgan@merion-mercy.com. All information is kept confidential.
- If your daughter is ill or unable to attend a day of school via Mobile Merion Mercy, please notify bfahy@merion-mercy.com.
So many others in this city, state, and country are experiencing similar situations that we can take comfort in knowing we are not navigating these waters alone. We can all lean on and support each other through this. If we can help or support you, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Katie Horgan RN, BSN
Sister Sheila Murphy, RSM, RN, MS
