Donations for the Alumnae Association Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service
The Merion Mercy Alumnae Association is hosting a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on Monday, January 20. This year, they are collecting supplies and putting together "birthday party bags" for children at Project Home and Interfaith Hospitality Network. Would you like to support this initiative? If so, please consider donating items, such as birthday bags, party hats and decorations, cake mixes, candles, and small toys and books to include as gifts. Please drop off all donations to the Advancement Office by Friday, January 17.
Food Day Tuesday: RESTOCK THE SHELVES
Help "RESTOCK THE SHELVES" this Food Day Tuesday on January 28!
Thank you for all your past donations to the Fresh Choice Pantry at the Community Center at Visitation in the Kensington neighborhood. Merion's generosity has not gone unnoticed!
January is a tough month for the pantry: holiday corporate donations are gone, fresh fruit is limited in availability, and canned fruit is expensive. Also, the Pantry is struggling with obtaining cereal donations.
Please keep in mind our Food Day Tuesday event will fall on January 28 this month. It is our wish to help "RESTOCK THE SHELVES." We are asking for all types of non-perishable food donations, in particular, cereal and canned fruit.
Thank you for helping us "RESTOCK THE SHELVES"! Academics January Exam Schedule
All semester 1 exams will occur the week of January 13-17. Please refer to the schedule below.

Lunch & Learn
MMA has graduated incredible women over the years who are doing amazing things in their careers. This year, Merion Mercy has launched Lunch & Learn sessions to further connect our alumnae community with current students. Lunch & Learn is a time for students to learn from recent MMA graduates who will share their stories and answer questions about their career paths. There are two more sessions planned for the school year: Tuesday, January 28 and Tuesday, March 24. Please encourage students to register for one or more! The alum guest on January 28 will be Dr. Kaitlyn Kennard '08. Click here to learn more about the January 28 event and/or refer your daughter to www.merion-mercy.com/lunchandlearn to register.

Details about this inclusive, exciting MMA tradition (including cost, menu, and RSVP instructions) will be sent to parents, caregivers, and students via email and website links early next week. Please stay tuned. We look forward to hosting an enjoyable event for anyone and everyone who can join us.
