  • In spring 2024, Hanna Trepts '25 was named to the All Main Line First Team. Darby Myers '25 and Madison McGrath '26 were named to the Second Team, and Macie Lieb '27 received Honorable Mention.

  • Darby Myers '25 and Hanna Trepts '25 were named 2024 AACA Softball All Stars, First Team. Madison McGrath '26 was named to the Second Team. 

  • Madison McGrath '26, Alison Owens '25, and Hanna Trepts '25 were selected for the 2023 PCCAF Softball Carpenter Cup team. 

  • Kylie Rex '23 and Darby Myers '25 were named to PA Preps All Main Line Second Team in spring 2023. 

  • Kylie Rex '23, Darby Myers '25, Hanna Trepts '25, and Madison McGrath '26 were named to the All Star Team for the AACA (Athletic Association of Catholic Academies) for their performance in softball this spring 2023 season.

  • MMA Softball finished the spring 2022 season 10-7 and was ranked 4th going into the District tournament, earning a first round “bye.” They ultimately fell to Marple Newtown, the 5th seed, in a 5-6 neck and neck game.  

  • Alexa Hofmann ‘22, Kara Krouse ‘22, and Hannah Mishinkash ‘22 were named AACA All Stars in 2022.

  • Krouse and Hofmann were named All Main Line, and Darby Myers was named Second Team in 2022.

Meet Darby Myers

Hometown: Philadelphia
Grade School: Saint Monica's
Other Activities: Volleyball, Spirit Club, Comedy Club, Blue Key Society
Fun Fact: I have a twin brother and was born with a fused elbow.
Why did you choose MMA? I chose MMA for its strong education programs and emphasis on sisterhood.
What do you love most about the sport you play? I love my teammates and the closer we bond as we continue to play together.
Favorite Merion team experience: A softball trip to Pigeon Forge, TN
What does being a student-athlete at MMA mean to you? It means balancing academic responsibilities with the thing that you love (sports). It teaches you discipline, time management, sportsmanship, and many other crucial life lessons.
Advice for a prospective MMA student: I would encourage you to branch out and try out for different teams. You might discover something you are very passionate about, especially during the fall when you can meet new friends while being new to the school.
