Merion soccer is affectionately known as MOCCER — and it's more than just a nickname.

Yes, M-O-C-C-E-R is the merging of the words “Merion Soccer”, but it also is an acronym for our team's shared values.

M – MATCH-FIT: Maximizing strength and cardio fitness.

O – OPTIMISM: Holding a positive attitude for yourself and teammates. 

C – COMMITMENT: Doing what it takes to be “All In”. 

C – CARING: Illustrating the spirit of Mercy. 

E – ENTHUSIASM: Realizing that success means more when you're having fun. 

R – RELENTLESS: Playing with high energy, high intensity and high physicality.  

With both JV and varsity teams, the program offers student-athletes the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence, and compete at a high level within a supportive and encouraging team environment. Through disciplined training and shared commitment, athletes grow not only as strong competitors on the field, but as confident teammates prepared to lead and succeed together.
