Merion Mercy Academy has an online lunch payment service that will allow parents/guardians to make deposits directly into their daughter's meal account (available in early August), transfer funds between students in the same household, and have an email reminder sent when an account balance gets low.

Deposits can be made through ACH payments or by credit card. Each student's account will be updated nightly so that account balance information and payments will be current as of the following day.
 

athletic paperwork:

All MMA student-athletes interested in playing sports must complete all necessary athletic paperwork, including a current physical signed and dated by a physician between June 1 and August 1.

Signed physicals must be included on Section 7 of the PIAA physical forms, which can be found in MyMMA under Magnus Health (see Medical Forms), along with all other athletic paperwork.

Fall Athletics:

Pre-season for fall PIAA sports begins on Monday, August 11. Fall sports include: cross country, field hockey, golf, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. More information is available on our athletic website.

The fall crew season for returning rowers begins on Tuesday, September 2. There will be a Learn to Row program in the fall season. Those who are interested should denote "Learn to Row" as their fall sport option on the sports registration form found within Magnus Health.

You are required to submit a physical exam as well as proof of required immunizations. Visit the Magnus Health Portal tile under Resources on MyMMA to answer some conditional questions, which will determine specific forms required for your daughter. All forms are to be submitted electronically via Magnus. 

Physical exams signed by a physician are required as follows: 

Students who intend to participate in athletics will need to upload to Magnus Health a PIAA (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association)-specific physical form. This form is REQUIRED of student-athletes and must be completed by a physician. It must be signed and dated on or after June 1. This form can also be used to satisfy the school's physical requirement.)

All new students must upload to Magnus Health proof of a physical done within one year prior to the start of school.

The Class of 2029 will receive a 10% discount through September 5, 2025. Just add code NEW2029 when you check out online. 

Students must wear the regulation school uniform purchased from FlynnO’Hara.  We recommend you visit one of their stores for correct sizing and fit as they don’t typically match the sizing found in everyday clothing stores. 

Requirements:

The fall/spring uniform consists of the khaki skirt and a yellow, white, or navy golf shirt.

• The khaki skirt should be no more than 4 inches above the knee.

• If a t-shirt is worn under the school golf shirt, it must be all white.

• Tights or leggings are worn in the fall and spring when the weather is cool (as determined by the administration). Tights or leggings must be navy.

• The official school uniform blazer, sweater or fleece (purchased from FlynnO’Hara), or an official school uniform sweatshirt (purchased from MMA Spirit Shop) may also be worn if/when the weather is cool.

• The brown tie shoe is worn with only white socks that have a cuff of at least one inch; no colored socks are allowed.

• PLEASE NOTE: We have added the option for students to wear all white, low top sneakers. There may be no color on the sneakers, including the logo and laces.

Gym Uniforms:

• For gym, any Merion tee-shirt is acceptable, and any shorts even if they are not MMA branded.

Students are expected to be in full MMA fall uniform for Orientation and for the first day of school. We recommend placing your order a month or more before school begins to ensure timely delivery. 

If uniforms have been ordered but have not yet been delivered, please write a note for your daughter so that she may receive a uniform pass from the Office of School Life.

Summer assignments for all English classes and school book lists will be posted in MyMMA under Resources by the first week of June.

The book list shares detailed information on the books and workbooks that students are required to have at the start of the school year. Books may be purchased from your favorite bookseller. Keep in mind that not all classes require families to purchase books. If your class is not listed on the book list, it means the necessary materials will be provided by Merion Mercy.

Google Apps for Education is used to accelerate collaboration, reflection, and continual cycles of revision and refinement. Additionally teachers and students use a rich array of digital resources to support learners’ capacity for evaluating and selecting tools that are effective for their task, goal, and role.

Students are asked to bring a dedicated laptop with them to school; Mac or PC. The device should meet the following requirements:

• Can run the full version of the Chrome browser 

• Has a keyboard

• A battery that will last the school day

• At least an i3 processor (Mac/PC)
