Upcoming Events & Important Dates

Merion Mercy will be in regular contact to help families prepare for next school year. Here are a few of the exciting opportunities for you and your daughter to get active at Merion!

Thursday, Feb. 19: Theater Performance

We are delighted to invite each member of the Class of 2030 and your families to be our guests at a brief reception followed by a private showing of MMMT’s spring musical, Mamma Mia!, on Thursday, February 19.

This event is a great tradition at Merion Mercy Academy, where we enjoy this special dress rehearsal performance with members of the incoming freshman class. MMMT is one of our premiere clubs at school, and their shows are always spectacular. We encourage you to join us for a glimpse of what you can look forward to as a fan of the performing arts.

Saturday, March 28: Placement Tests

Incoming students will take their 9th grade course placement tests in English, Math, Science and Language (if applicable).

Our placement process includes a holistic review of transcripts, standardized testing data, and subject-specific placement test data. Over the course of their four years at Merion Mercy Academy, students are able to transition into honors courses based on their academic growth and interests.

Families will receive an email for MMA's Office of Academics with additional details and testing logistics.

Academic Accommodations

Merion Mercy Academy recognizes that all students learn differently. Students may qualify for and receive accommodations by providing the following documentation:

Evaluation completed within the last 2 years
Updated 504 Plan within the last year
A letter from a doctor or therapist explaining the diagnosis and expressing any accommodations that should be granted

MyMMA Accounts

MyMMA (merion-mercy.myschoolapp.com) is the go-to resource for Merion Mercy students and her parents/guardians.

In addition to listing your child's class schedule and important documentation, MyMMA also provides school calendars, directories, and resource boards to help you navigate your four years at Merion.

You will have access to MyMMA once your contract has been signed. Please access your MyMMA account as soon as it is available so that your daughter has ample time to complete any summer assignments and to order books for the start of school. We recommend that you bookmark this site for easy access throughout the year.

You will sign up for a MyMMA account using the same username and password that you created during the online enrollment contract process this spring. Information on how to access and navigate MyMMA is available via the following links: Student Guide for Login and Profile Setup and Parent/Guardian Guide Setup.

Tech Requirements

Every Merion Mercy student brings their own dedicated Mac or PC laptop with them to school (not an iPad or a Chromebook).

The device should meet the following requirements:

Can run the full version of the Chrome browser
Has a keyboard
A battery that will last the school day
At least an i3 processor (Mac/PC)
