Merion Mercy Academy has officially named Paul Clementi, JD, P ’16 as Dean of Students. Having served in the position as an interim since August 2022, Clementi has been recognized for his exceptional leadership. Head of School Marianne Grace says, “Paul hit the ground running at the beginning of the school year and has never looked back. With his experience, demeanor, and dedication to MMA, he has been a tremendous asset and we are blessed to have him in this role.”
Clementi began teaching social studies at Merion Mercy in 2008 and leads the school’s signature Mock Trial team and Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society Chapter. He holds a bachelor's degree from Villanova University, earned his J.D. from Seton Hall Law School and began his Ed.D at Gwynedd Mercy University this fall.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity, Clementi says, “I am truly honored to assume the position of Dean of Students permanently. Merion Mercy has been an integral part of my professional and personal life over the past 15 years. I look forward to preserving beloved Merion Mercy traditions while preparing our students for the future."
