51st Annual Honor Society Induction Ceremony

On November 15, 2022, Merion Mercy Academy hosted its 51st annual National Honor Society induction ceremony. Merion has 129 NHS members, which is over 65% of the junior and senior classes. Serving as the event's alumna speaker was Deanna Javage ‘13, an executive at Sourcemap, a company that offers supply change traceability and transparency solutions. Deanna spoke to the girls about the importance of applying the four pillars of NHS to their lives: character, leadership, scholarship, and service.

To be considered for NHS membership, students must have earned an unrounded cumulative GPA of 3.60 or higher. As part of the application process, eligible students must submit an application reflecting the NHS pillars. Those applications are reviewed by the NHS Council, which is composed of faculty, staff, and administration who ensure that each new member fulfills all requirements.
