MMA Artists Make their Marks

Four Merion Mercy Academy students earned honors at the 2026 Annual Archdiocesan Secondary School Art Exhibition at Chestnut Hill College. The exhibition, which includes work from 20 archdiocesan and private Catholic schools, features more than 100 student artists, highlighting artistic excellence across various mediums. 

The following MMA students were awarded at the opening reception on April 18:

• Kaitlin McCullagh ‘27 – First Place, Observational Drawing (A Fence Forgotten)
• Daisy Pinto ‘27 – Third Place, Printmaking (Root of All Pain)
• Elisabeth Bailey ‘26 – Honorable Mention, Observational Drawing (I’m Bored)
• Vera Chen ‘28 – two Honorable Mentions:
  • Observational Drawing (A Familiar Face)
  • Mixed Media (Light For All Nations)

Moriah Anderson ‘27, Stella Boczkowski ‘28, Ceci Corr ‘26, Julia Gargione ‘26, Sophia Leuzzi ‘27, Julia Klein ‘27, and Hedda Wagner ‘29 are also featured in the exhibit, which is open to the public through April 30.
