Erin Burrows ‘26 Crowned National American Miss Philadelphia Teen

Merion Mercy Academy is thrilled to celebrate senior Erin Burrows, who has been crowned National American Miss Philadelphia Teen! The National American Miss pageant system empowers young women to develop confidence, poise, and leadership while celebrating personal achievement and community involvement. Erin’s accomplishment reflects her dedication, talent, and the strong foundation she has built at Merion Mercy Academy.

Reflecting on her experience at MMA, Erin shared:

"I’m so grateful to my home at Merion Mercy Academy, a place that empowers young women to lead, learn and serve through an education grounded in spiritual growth and academic and personal excellence.

Thanks for showing me that life gets boring if you stick with what you already know—whether it was stepping into Merion Mercy Music Theater or our dance troop, finding my voice in Mock Trial, embracing my culture in the AAPI affinity group, or so much more. I wouldn’t be who I am today without you. As I walk into my senior year, I feel both excited and a little bittersweet. Thank you for the memories and the growth.”

Erin’s achievement is a shining example of Merion Mercy Academy’s mission to nurture confident, capable young women ready to embrace new challenges, lead with integrity, and excel in every aspect of life. We congratulate Erin on this remarkable honor and look forward to cheering her on throughout her senior year and beyond.
