On Sunday, April 16, 350 students, mothers, mother figures, alumnae and friends of Merion Mercy attended the school’s Fashion Show and Dinner at Springfield Country Club. With the theme Starry Night, the annual event’s main attraction was a runway show with seniors modeling fashions by Faherty, La Bella Moda, Lilly Pulitzer, and Louella. Margaret Getty Spross '08, Senior Associate of Textile and Trim Research and Innovation at Lilly Pulitzer, served as emcee.
Approximately $10,000 was raised through event tickets and raffle sales. The proceeds directly benefit Merion girls, enhancing the entire student experience, from academics to extracurriculars to sisterhood days.
Director of Development Stacy Gallagher says, “The event chairs and committee members deserve our thanks and appreciation for their tireless work.” Mary Miller Fresta '87, P '16, '19, '23 and Amy Steinman P '23 served as chairs with committee members Mary Zsembik P '20, Annabelle Mirra P '23, and Jenn Marshall Valenti '87, P '23.
