Merion Mercy Academy Mission Statement

 

Merion Mercy Academy is an independent Catholic, college preparatory school sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and a member school of Mercy Education System of the Americas. Our mission is to empower young women to lead, learn, and serve through an education grounded in spiritual development and academic and personal excellence.

Our Motto:

"Live Mercy. Seek Justice."

It's more than a motto—it's a call to action. Rooted in the Mercy tradition, we form young women who lead with compassion, stand for dignity, and work courageously to create a more just world.

True to our Mercy charism and Catholic identity, Merion girls work every day to better the world. Whether it be in the classroom, clubs, retreats, or service projects, our students further the call of the Gospel to live a values-centered life.
