Alumnae Council
Council Members
All graduates of Mater Misericordiae Academy or Merion Mercy Academy are considered members of the school's alumnae association. The association has a governing council that meets three times each year. The council has committees that help to organize the association into various components, including executive, mentoring, reunions, and special events. By-laws are available.

Reunions are organized by members of the council and interesed members of the class. Each spring the school sets a date for class reunions to be held at the school. Five year anniversary classes are invited to Mass, a reception and a dinner. All alumnae are invited to the Mass and reception. Only reunion classes are invited to dinner. Former faculty are invited to the Mass and reception. Classes who are celebrating their 50th reunion are inducted into the Golden Circle of Mercy. Next May, the class of 1959 will have that honor!
Meri-union, the Alumnae Dinner for classes ending in 4 and 9, will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009. Any alumna interested in becoming a representative for her class or assisting with the reunion should contact Patti McAleer at pmcaleer@merion-mercy.com or 610-664-6655x103.
The alumnae council meets three times annually. Members help organize their reunions, run special events, assist MMA, and participate in career day. Alums interested in joining the council should contact Mrs. Patricia McAleer, at pmcaleer@merion-mercy.com
